-my wife and i take our blue girl to day care twice a week for dog socialization and a little exercise during the week while were at work. what we have begun noticing is that she sometimes get's sick in the evenings on the days she comes home from daycare.... (it generally begins with her licking her lips and than drooling, followed by either vomit or just a little bit of white fluid/mucus) our daycare provider is very trustworthy and has proof of all dog vacinnations being up to date. she also makes sure that she isn't getting into anything harmful... does anyone have any suggestions on what we can do... i hate to stop taking her because she absolutely loves going and playing with the other dogs... the vet has given her a clean bill of health twice since we've begun noticing this...we even tried feeding her 3 smal meals on daycare days.. thanks for your input

I have had different dogs with various stomach problems. My vet recommends Pepcid. I currently have 2 of my dogs on a twice daily regimen. Up to 100 pounds can take 20 mg, over 100 pounds can take 30 mg. You could also try PeptoBismol on an as needed basis, when she comes home from daycare. Giving 2 pills is a lot easier than the liquid. Good luck, I hope this helps!

I would have to ask how "hard" is your Dane playing with the other dogs at daycare? May I suggest that you have the caretaker give her some down time throughout the day. It sounds as if she is over doing it. I would keep a close eye on her after she comes home from daycare...over doing it can cause her to bloat on you!
