Aberdeen loves to play in the snow, however his poor feet just can't take it. It's not his pads, its the skin and webbing in between his toes and on the underside of his feet that get raw and bloody. I don't know what to do to help his poor unhappy feet. Because it is so hard to keep a bandage on him, I don't think he would keep dog boots on either, and I don't want to spend $50 on something that he might not tolerate. Any suggestions?

Site OwnerPosts: 9 | Here's how to make a "quick" pair of booties: Use a sandwich bag, tape the bag around his leg then cover them with a pair of socks...put a piece of tape on the bottom of the socks for traction. Once he gets use to the feeling on his feet it won't matter if you spend the $50 for the rubber ones or become inventive...He just has to get use to the feeling on his feet. They do sell a wax for the pads but not for inbetween his toes.
