I always wonder how my boy Aberdeen would measure up to his littermates now a days! He is such a goof ball and he still LOVES to give lots of kisses so I know the same ol guy is still i there as when he was a young pup but hes so much bigger now. He is averages about 135 lbs and stands about 36 inches at the shoulders. He really hasn't gotten heavier or taller in a while now, which is ok by me, but I am always curious about how he measures up to his littermates or any danes for that matter!

Glad you like our pics!  Still trying to figure out why I can't add them from my mac, so Irena does it for me.  Will get with her to add some more.  Griffin is a liitle bigger than Aberdeen I think. He weighs in AROUND 145  or so. He was quite sick last summer/fall and lost a ton of weight. It took a while to put it back on. Haven't measured him either but I would guess about 36" too.  He also is a big lovable, goofball.  My dad calls him Superdoof  He gives us a good laugh minimum once a day.  He is a talker too and just loves everyone! We always enjoy your pics, so keep posting.....

Hey everyone,

Been awhile since I have been on here.  I can post some stats since the kids have been to the vet recently to be weighed for heartworm and flea/tick meds.  Zeus is about 125 lbs and standing roughly 33-34 tall and our little girl Isadora is 108 lbs and standing a good bit shorter than Zeus.  She wont for the life of me lay still or stand still long enough for me to get a measure on her.  As most of you remember Isadora was a rescue we did.  She has acculmated herself very nicely to the house as well as house guests which come to visit.  She was very timid of visitors when we first got her but since has learned to welcome our guests at the door by sitting and waiting for the attention she wants.  Zeus will do the same but forgets sometimes.  All in all everything is good.  It hard for me to remember the timid dog Isadora once was.  She and Zeus are lovers from the heart.  Sloppy kisses are plentiful.

As for our concerns of how the 2 would react to a newborn in the house well I am pleased to inform that although protective the 4 legged kids really could care less.  When our daughter is sleeping there is at least one of them close by "standing gaurd so to speak"  no need for baby monitors.  Zeus and Izzy let us know when she is crying.  It really is a crazy thing to see them 2 around a newborn.
