Kelso's Gr8 Danes

Home of the Natural Ear Danes!!!!

Can you give me a Home?

10/3/2008- We have an 11 month old Blue Merle Female from our Air Force Litter (Tyndall) come back to us. Tyndall is at least 40 pounds under weight and will need to gain weight before she will be spayed. She will be started with obedience training ASAP! She has no manners since the last 6 months of her life she lived in her crate! Please contact me if you are interested in coming to meet her, HOWEVER, SHE WILL NOT BE PLACED IN A HOME BEFORE SHE IS READY!!!! I WANT TO MAKE SURE THIS WILL BE HER FOREVER HOME!!!! If interested in adopting Tyndall, You can help in her recovery/training and can help work with her until she is ready to go home with you! Just think, training class from the start! Watch training at it's best, Tyndall will go from no manners to her CGC!

10/6/2008- Tyndall has went to the vet for a full "work up"! Waiting on her blood tests and stool test to come back from the lab. Tyndall only weighs 84.6 lbs.    She should weigh at least 125 lbs for her height and age. This poor girl needs to put on 40 lbs! We are doing very slowly to make sure she does not bloat. We are waiting to get all her test results back, just to make sure she has no under lying medical problems, but the Vet seems to think she is so under weight just because of her previous owner's just felt they didn't have a need to feed her! We clipped her toe nails (they had looked as if they were never clipped after she left here! They where starting to curl under into her paw pads.), and now she is starting to walk up on her toes again, and her paw pad are healing. Her gait is a little "off" this is due to a lack in muscle tone and as she is out of the crate playing and exercising her muscles will get stronger and this will currect it self. She has started with her "house" manners...she needs alot of help with this!, She thinks it's ok to play in the house, Tyndall is very quickly learning "outside to play"! She has been great with the other dogs, but does need help with her people skills! She is a little "head shy" and if you move too quickly around her she'll snap at you. She does not like it if you raise your voice either! She has learned to turst me (after snapping at me several times), and is starting to trust me husband. I will start her walking on a leash in a few more days.

10/22/2008- All of Tyndall's results have come back and she has no underlying health issues. As of today, with just basic feeding Tyndall now weighs 101 lbs. She will dewormed in another week just to "make sure" she has no worms. 2 weeks after that we'll have her spayed and give her another 2 weeks for recovery. She has started with alot of basic obedience training and still needs some work. Especially with walking on a leash! She still has problems with steps and sometimes falls down and also up them! (New pictures coming soon!)

11/26/2008- Tyndall is doing a "trial" run with the Shertzer Family and her Litter Mate brother Nimbus! Hope all goes well.

As of 9/29/2008 Isadora will be doing a "trial" run with The Barthman famliy and her litter mate brother, Zeus!

(Picture Coming Soon!)

We have an 18 months old female from our "Heart" Litter (Kenndy/Isadora). She has been spayed and is current on her shots. She has been returned to us (her Family has stated) because she keeps running through their electric fence and they are fearful she'll be hit by a car or get injured on her "adventures" in the woods! Because of this, Isadora will ONLY be placed in a new home with a fenced in area for her to run and play (not an electric fence)! She is a really sweet, well manored, well adjusted Dane Puppy. She is great with kids and other dogs (But, she tends to be a little rough with smaller dogs- she hasn't yet learned her size!) Please contact me if you would like to come and meet her, if interested in possibly adopting her!

Emma/Princess- I am currantly looking for this puppy! They are in breach of contract, so when they are located I will be reposessing this puppy! I am looking for Mike and Lisa Hopely. Their last known address was 258 Level Rd., Collegeville, PA 19426. I have learned that they have moved to the Spring City, PA 19475 area! It won't be long now, before they are located and served with court papers to return my dog!
